Terms of Service
By requesting a pickup, using our contact form, or otherwise engaging Hamadi Nilixa for courier services, you accept the terms described below. These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
A. Description of Services
Hamadi Nilixa provides local courier and same-day delivery services within Bucharest and the surrounding Ilfov county, covering document delivery between offices, pickup and drop-off of notarised paperwork at institutions, parcel delivery for online stores, and scheduled recurring routes for offices with regular delivery needs.
B. Booking and Confirmation Process
A delivery request is considered accepted only once a pickup window has been confirmed back to the client, whether by WhatsApp message, email or phone. Submitting a request through the website form or a message does not, by itself, guarantee that a specific time slot will be available.
C. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, correct recipient contact details, and a truthful description of the item being sent, including whether it is fragile, notarised, or otherwise requires special handling. Inaccurate information may delay a delivery or affect how it is handled.
D. Items We Do Not Transport
Hazardous materials, illegal goods, and items requiring specialised refrigerated or oversized freight transport are not accepted. International shipments fall outside the scope of this service, which is limited to Bucharest and Ilfov.
E. Pricing and Payment
Pricing for individual deliveries or scheduled routes is agreed directly with the client before a route begins, based on distance, frequency and the nature of the items carried. Payment terms, including any cash-on-delivery arrangements for e-commerce clients, are set out separately in writing or by message for each client relationship.
F. Delivery Windows and Delays
Pickup and delivery times are planned as realistic estimates based on traffic conditions, route length and institutional queues, but they remain estimates rather than fixed commitments. Weather, road closures or unexpected institutional delays may affect a scheduled window, and clients will be informed as soon as such a change becomes apparent.
G. Liability
Hamadi Nilixa takes reasonable care in handling documents and parcels entrusted to it, including sealed packaging and confirmation photos at key stages. Liability for loss or damage is limited to circumstances of proven negligence in handling, and does not extend to delays caused by factors outside reasonable control, such as institutional processing times or road conditions.
H. Cancellations and Changes
A scheduled route or an individual pickup may be cancelled or rescheduled by either party with reasonable advance notice, sent through WhatsApp, email or phone. Recurring routes may be paused temporarily, for example during holiday periods, without ending the underlying arrangement.
I. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law, including the relevant provisions of the Romanian Civil Code concerning service contracts. Any dispute arising from the use of these services will first be addressed through direct communication between the parties, and, failing resolution, may be brought before the competent Romanian courts.
