Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Hamadi Nilixa, operating from Strada Dunăvăț, Bucharest, Romania, collects and uses personal information in connection with this website and its courier services, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018 on measures implementing that Regulation.
1. What information do we collect?
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, business address and the content of any message sent through the contact form or WhatsApp. For scheduled routes, we also record pickup and drop-off addresses, delivery timestamps, and confirmation photos or signatures related to each handover.
2. Why do we collect delivery-related information?
Pickup and delivery details are recorded so that a route can be planned, a courier can be assigned, and both sender and recipient can confirm that an item has changed hands. Confirmation photos and timestamps serve as a record for the client, not as a public or shared dataset.
3. What is the legal basis for processing?
Where information is needed to arrange or carry out a delivery you have requested, processing relies on the performance of that service arrangement. Where you contact us with a general question, processing relies on your consent to be contacted, which you may withdraw at any time. Where retention is required by Romanian accounting or tax rules, processing relies on that legal obligation.
4. Do you share information with third parties?
Delivery details are shared internally with the courier assigned to a route. We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be shared with public institutions such as a notary office, court registry or town hall, but only as required to complete a specific delivery you requested to that institution.
5. How long is information kept?
Delivery logs and confirmation records are generally kept for a period reasonably needed to resolve any question about a specific delivery, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Information required for invoicing or tax purposes is kept for the period set by Romanian fiscal legislation.
6. How is information kept secure?
Access to delivery records and contact details is limited to staff who need it to plan or carry out a route. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
7. Are cookies used on this website?
Yes. This website uses a small number of cookies, described in full in our separate Cookie Policy, which also explains how you can manage your preferences at any time through the cookie icon shown on each page.
8. What rights do you have under GDPR?
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections where it is inaccurate, request erasure where retention is no longer justified, object to certain processing, request restriction of processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
9. How can you exercise these rights?
Requests relating to any of the rights above can be sent to [email protected]. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm your identity before acting on a request, in order to protect your information from being disclosed to the wrong person.
10. Are automated decisions made about you?
No. Route planning and pickup scheduling involve human review by dispatch staff. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning individuals.
11. How will changes to this policy be communicated?
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after a change indicates awareness of the updated policy.
